That wonderful nostalgic feeling that your granny’s or even great granny’s eiderdown can conjure up! I had just that eiderdown sitting in a linen cupboard, a little faded and ragged around its ruffle trim. I had always admired it but just didn’t know where it would fit, dare I say it was beautiful but a little outdated! In one of those lockdown days, I got out my sewing machine and found some gorgeous fabric that I had left over from a previous project and set myself the task of recovering the eiderdown … wow the transformation. The concept of Flo’s eiderdowns was born.
My concept, is taking that old favourite and giving it a modern interpretation and introducing the eiderdown as part of the bedroom decor again. This vibrant and luxurious addition to the bedroom will become an integrated part of a design scheme. In all decorative schemes something whether it be a piece of art, that special piece of furniture or a beautiful fabric kick starts the process of choosing a colour palette. By choosing fabulous prints and colours, my eiderdowns will I hope be that inspirational piece. The use of colour makes us feel happy and the the colour palette is one of the most impactful design decisions you make in the process of creating your home.

Filling: 85% Feather / 15% down – wonderfully insulated, cosy and breathable – good for chilly nights when the heating may be turned off or limited !
Lining fabric : Cambric – lightweight and breathable fabric
Top Fabric: finest quality linen with linen chintz contrast, chosen from top designer collections matched with a velvet piping..
